Episode 2: Films made for the people in them

We are joined by the director of the Lake Winnipeg Project, Kevin Settee and Kailey Arthurson, who was featured in one of the films. These four films feature unique stories from four communities around Lake Winnipeg - Matheson Island, Poplar River, Fisher River and Hollow Water.

Kevin’s approach centers on the stories people wanted to tell about living on Lake Winnipeg. Select films from the series were screened at the 2021 LA Skins Festival and the American Indian Film Festival.

Watch the films for free at the National Film Board or the Lake Winnipeg Project Facebook page.
