Join the collective!
Lake Winnipeg has sustained and strengthened our communities and all our relations since time immemorial. Recently, our sacred waters have come under immense pressures from colonialism, climate change, industry and agriculture. Indigenous peoples maintain a collective responsibility to protect and restore Lake Winnipeg.
We are member-driven advocacy organization working across the watershed to advance Indigenous knowledge, values and practices to protect and restore Lake Winnipeg for all future generations.
Membership is open to anyone who declares their support for the Lake Winnipeg Indigenous Accord.
